Cat Quest II knows exactly what it is: a comfort-food RPG. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. It just puts cute wheels on a cozy, low-stress vehicle, adds a dog, and lets you drive off a cliff for fun. If you have a friend or a child ready to share a controller, buy this without hesitation. If you’re solo, it’s still a great game to unwind with after a long day.
The developers have provided excellent post-launch support, releasing free updates that added significant value. A "New Game+" update allowed players to restart the game on a higher difficulty with all their gear and levels, with enemies scaled up to +999 levels. Another substantial update, "The Mew World," introduced a new mode with gameplay modifiers, a sprint function for faster travel, new Royal Arts combat moves, and new water-based enemies. cat quest ii
